ZOE AMBRUS – PIANO TEACHER / PIANIST
Zoe Ambrus is a classically trained pianist and piano teacher. She has been playing the piano and performing for over 20 years, and has several years experience teaching a wide range of styles and ability levels to students in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Zoe has several years experience teaching children and adults, preparing students for recitals, and taking students through AMEB examinations. She is a member of Music Teachers Online, Friends of the Team of Pianists, the Australian Music Examination Board, and the Victorian Music Teachers Association.
Zoe also works as a performer and accompanist, and is available for session work, recording work, and solo recitals. She has studied under concert pianists Alan Kogosowski, Coady Green, and Robert Chamberlain, and has achieved high marks in piano competitions and AMEB classical piano examinations. Zoe has performed both as a soloist and as an accompanist for countless vocalists and instrumentalists, and has played in many orchestras, big bands, stage bands and rock bands. Zoe has studied a broad range of musical styles and techniques at University, and has performed hundreds of times at venues including the Arts Centre Melbourne, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, the Clocktower Centre, and Rod Laver Arena.
